When you offer several services, it’s tempting to include all of them in your first email.
You want to give the recipient as many reasons as possible to be interested.
The difficulty is that each additional service asks them to consider something else.
An email that mentions website design, advertising, automation, and content creation leaves the reader to figure out where to begin.
Choose the service that best fits the business you’re contacting.
Explain what you can help with and why you thought it might be relevant to them. Keep the rest of your capabilities for a later conversation.
The same applies to your request. Asking someone to visit your website, review an attachment, and book a call creates several possible next steps. Pick the one that makes sense for the conversation you’re trying to start.
Before sending, try describing the email’s purpose in one sentence.
If you need a long explanation, narrow the message until the offer and the request are clear.
